Citizens’ and customers’ attitudes towards engagement with different socially innovative business models for energy democracy have been investigated by Trinity College Dublin with a large-scale survey during June to October 2020, which covered citizens of 10 EU countries (Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Sweden) as well as the UK and US, with each having approximately 800 valid responses and 1600 for Germany.
The socially innovative business model to be examined during the webinar will be energy cooperatives.
