The Friends of the Supergrid is a group of companies and organisations with a mutual interest in promoting the policy agenda for a European Supergrid.Supergrid will be the transmission backbone of Europe’s decarbonised power sector. It will facilitate the trading of electricity across Europe.  Supergrid will strengthen security of supply. It will create another global opportunity for European companies to export sustainable energy technology.
