Alex Andrione-Moylan was born in London in 1992. Since January 2019 he is PhD Fellow at the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies and Research Associate since January 2018. Alex obtained a BA in International Relations from the University of Turin (Italy), an MA in European Studies and an MSc in European Politics and Policies from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). He is member of the Project Management Teams of RECONNECT and CONNECTIVITY, two large-scale research programmes led by the Centre. His research interests focus on populism and contestation in the European Union and global governance. He has published on the impact of populism in European Political Parties, and on the 'Group of 7' (G7) in times of antiglobalism and contestation.
