Professional experience
Christoph Klika joined EIPA Maastricht in 2021 as an EU Policy Implementation Expert. Klika specialises in European integration, EU external relations, EU policymaking, public administration and implementation, as well as comparative politics focusing on Europe. Klika also lectures at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany, focusing on international relations and development policy.
Christoph was a visiting fellow at the Centre for European Law and Governance at Cardiff University in the UK; he conducted research and delivered lectures as a part of the Jean Monnet Seminar Series. He has also taught at Maastricht University in the Netherlands and worked at the Institute for European Integration Research at the Austrian Academy of Sciences in Vienna. Christoph holds a PhD in Political Science from Maastricht University, and a Master’s degree in Political Science and Communication from the University of Vienna.
