Mr Klaehn’s has been instrumental with implementation of capacity development programs of GIZ focusing on chemical and environmental management within textile industry. His experience across Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, and Germany has allowed him to address the sustainability priorities for both, producers and Brands/Retailers.

Until recently, he was responsible for establishing agreements related to sustainable fibre use amongst members of the strategic partnership for sustainable textiles. As of April 2020, he leads the environmental topics within the GIZ FABRIC program that will focus on Pakistan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam.
