Dr. Ivandro Soares Monteiro is a Level E IPT Psychotherapist/ Clinical Psychologist and University Professor for the last 13 years. He has been active in clinical work, supervision and education in the areas of Interpersonal Psychotherapy. He dedicated the last 15 years to research and practice of depression treatment. Dr. Ivandro completed his Clinical Psychology Doctorate at the University of Minho, as well as his Master degree in Cognitive Sciences at this same university, since his internship of the graduation of Psychology by Ismai at the mental health Hospital Magalhães Lemos. He published several articles and two books, all about vulnerability to depression. He is the founder and Director of the ORASI Institute and EME Health Clinic in the city of Oporto. He is also member of the ISIPT . Most of his training in IPT was done with Dr. Scott Stuart (co-founder of ISIPT). in most of his training.
