Dr James Cox is currently an MRC-funded Career Development Fellow and Proleptic Senior Lecturer working in the Molecular Nociception Group at University College London.As a post-doctoral researcher working with Professor Geoff Woods and Professor John Wood, he focused on SCN9A-associated Congenital Insensitivity to Pain and TRPA1-associated Familial Episodic Pain Syndrome, in addition to other human neurodevelopmental disorders.
