Sara Bergendorff, MSc in Biotechnology from Linköpings Universitet, graduated 2007. I started my career as a biomedical analyst at the National Board of Forensic Medicine and I have also worked as a consultant in telecom for a few years before joining Returpack at 2012.

I have a great interest in material recycling, something I have had the pleasure of working with from different angles during my time at Returpack. I started as a project manager working with the RVM (Reverse Vending Machine) functionality and mobile payment of deposit. After that, I have been responsible for our contacts with the breweries and importers connected to the system and run our project to expand the system to include more types of products. Today, I have a role as a materials specialist and I am responsible for our approval process of new products and our design for recycling requirements.  My team ensures that all connected containers in the DRS can be collected, sorted and recycled.
