Guidelines for publishing events

EU Agenda reserves the right to discretionally edit, suspend, or remove any published event if:

  • The event content is in direct violation of existing laws, regulations, human rights agreements, etc.;
  • The event content does not provide complete information about venue, date and time, description, etc.;
  • The event contains false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory or offensive content;
  • The event is aiming to distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm EU Agenda, the Website, or the interests or property of the EU Agenda’s Users (including their Intellectual Property Rights, privacy and publicity rights);
  • The event contains threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive (of privacy), vulgar, obscene, or profane content or elements which may harass or cause distress or inconvenience to, or incite hatred of, any person (such as racist or neo-Nazi events);
  • The event violates the Terms of Use (the User Agreement) of EU Agenda;
  • The event content is inappropriate or off-topic (such as weddings, music concerts, recreational gatherings);
  • The event content is not in the English language;
  • The event is placed in an inappropriate policy area;
  • The event is duplicated;

In order to maintain the overall quality of the Website, when posting events you are kindly asked to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Do not use all capital letters (ALL CAPS) in the event title, event subtitle, event description - except for acronyms or similar;
  • Do not add the organiser name in the event title;
  • Do not enter links, email addresses, telephone or other contact information or venue information anywhere in the event title or event description;
  • Do not include information about the organiser in the event description field;
  • Always use the real name for users and speakers;
  • Always use the picture for users and speakers - do not use the organisation logo;
