On the 9th November 2010, in the run-up to World Diabetes Day 2010, you are invited to attend the special screening of "Lifeblood", a film about diabetes, hosted by MEP Marisa Matias (Portugal). After the screening there will be the possibility to meet and interview Sister Marguerite de Clerck, a Belgian nun and doctor, who features in the film and who has spent the past 55 years treating children with diabetes in the Democratic Republic of Congo.On November 9th and 10th the film "Lifeblood" will be screened continuosly and there will be also the possibility to have a free gluco test to asses a person's risk of diabetes.If you want to attend the special screening of the 9th of November please contact Vera Mazzara: 0032 (2) 743 6604
