Prepaid Summit: Middle East 2011

Conference, Expo and Networking Dinner

In 2010, more than 150 delegates from 20 counties attended the first Prepaid Summit: Middle East. The Gulf has continued to display the robustness of its economy and is still one of the most dynamic in the world, with average household consumption in the UAE alone standing at $14,400 per annum and more than 50 million tourists expected in 2010.Prepaid card usage across the Middle East has also continued to grow with several new and exciting applications. Hot on the heels of the Ibn Battuta gift card programme in 2009, we have seen Qatar Islamic Bank launch their gift card programme. We have also seen the world's first Platinum prepaid card from the Dubai Bourse for dividend payments.Prepaid cards offer banks unparalleled opportunities to create new revenue streams. The Prepaid Summit: Middle East 2011 will this year be held on 22-23 March and will combine Middle Eastern and international case studies with exclusive research on the markets and their future development.
