Boston University Brussels is holding its Amazing Race for Literacy in the centre of Brussels on Saturday, June 11th. Our goal is to raise awareness of the ongoing struggle for literacy in Belgium. The “race” will be a walk, around the center of Brussels, that will highlight locations of “literary importance” (and test your knowledge of famous literature facts in our very own city!).We'll meet (in the beginning and end) at the Natural Café close to Central Station, across from the park Mont des Arts; join us before 10:00 and receive a complimentary beverage. This is a family friendly race. Participation is free, but you are requested to donate €10 per person. All donations go to the “Exile Centre” in Brussels which provides mentoring, education and refuge to young people from war-torn regions.Contact Boston University Brussels to register or to receive more detailed information in English, French, and Dutch.
