Scheduled for two and a half days from 12 till 14 April (Thursday till Saturday) this seminar offers ample time for in-depth assessment and intensive discussions on the various aspects of the chosen topic. In 2012 the focus will be on assessing the compatibility of aid grants with the following subject mattersThe scrutiny of the EU Courts over the compatibility assessment concerning aid grantsThe compatibility of restructuring aid for the financial sectorThe compatibility assessment with regard to large investment projects in R&D&IThe in-depth assessment of regional aid to large investment projectsEach member of the faculty – consisting of representatives of the EU Court of Justice, of the European Commission, of the academia and private legal practice – will contribute the specific aspects of his/her background. The participants – a maximum of 25 delegates – are welcome to pose their specific issues and discuss individual questions in intensive, lively, and interactive debates.
