Computer-Based Learning in Science (CBLIS) is an international community committed to the promotion of innovative learning environments for the benefit of the wider scientific community, using computer-based methods to support science teaching. CBLIS plays an important role in fostering international collaboration between researchers, teachers and instructors who are involved in using and/or developing computer-based learning techniques and strategies for Science Education.Computer-Based Learning in Science (CBLIS) organises every two years a Scientific Conference with the aim of sharing current research and innovations in the field of science education with computers. The first conference was held in Vienna in 1993. Over the years, CBLIS conferences have been held in different European countries like the UK, Cyprus, Greece or Italy. You can browse the previous CBLIS conference websites. The 10th Conference, with the title “Learning Science in the Society of Computers”, is taking place in Barcelona (Catalonia/Spain) from 26th to 29th June 2012. Given the challenge of integrating innovative educational technologies in a society immersed in the use of computers, the conference will include topics such as the design and use of learning environments, modelling software, MB and RC laboratories, simulations and other ICT tools. We look forward to meeting you in Barcelona at the conference. Please review the important dates for abstract submission, paper submission and for conference registration. Finally, do not hesitate to contact us if necessary.
