EIF Breakfast Debate

Children today are using technologies almost on a daily basis and parents are more and more faced with both the challenges and the opportunities of being online. Digital technology creates significant opportunities for children’s education, social interactions, creativity and entertainment, but also poses challenges in terms of safety of the online content.For this reason, the EU Institutions, the Industry and the NGOs are putting significant efforts in creating a better and safer Internet for kids. What are the latest technological evolutions out there? What are the policy and regulatory challenges that need to be tackled? What is the Industry doing to ensure that parents are empowered in the online world?
