Join the BNG on their third annual visit to the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 10 - 11 June 2013, to learn how the Parliament’s monthly trip to Strasbourg works, how to work with MEPs and assistants, navigate your way around the Parliament and operate effectively as an interest representative. There is no formal ‘guide to Strasbourg’ and going for the first time can be daunting. The visit prepares young professionals for visits to Strasbourg and helps them to develop the knowledge, skills and contacts necessary for a career in the EU Affairs environment. Through discussion and debate with different stakeholders, the sessions provide snapshots of the Parliament’s work in practice with policy experts. The visit is based around three interactive discussion sessions with MEPs, assistants and officials, a tour of the Parliament and dinner with an MEP.
