This unit offers a comprehensive review and discussion of protocol as applied in the organisation of an official event. It provides participants with an understanding of the different elements that need to be considered when planning a high-level event that will be attended by crowds, VIPs or celebrities. It discusses the preparations that need to be made for the signing of agreements and the rules that should be followed when signing treaties and agreements.
