Austria pursues a threefold energy strategy: Increasing energy efficiency, energy conservation and development of renewable energies. The International Conference and Exhibition RENEXPO® Austria brings together 1000 attendees, 200 speakers, 4000 trade visitors and 120 exhibitors taking part in the implementation of this strategy. Nearly all aspects of change in energy policies will be addressed at the Conference and Exhibition. Heat recovery, energy management combining heat and power, LED lighting and heat pump just are a few to be mentioned. Over 70 events, such as conventions, conferences, workshops and forums are held for experts and policy makers to exchange ideas on promising innovations, future trends, the latest technologies and operational solutions. Decision makers from more than 15 countries will meet at three international forums on hydropower, photovoltaic and heat and power Cogeneration. Salzburg is located very conveniently and builds a bridge to neighbouring countries, notably Germany, Italy and Switzerland, this years partner country. The newly-built multipurpose building of Salzburg Exhibition Center and the latest and most modern convention center in Austria will greatly accelerate the growth of RENEXPO® Austria. The network behind RENEXPO® Austria is not only large, but also indispensable and quite active.
