Interreg IVB North West Europe Strategic Cluster 'APACHES', Flemish Land Agency (VLM) , City of Hagen and the Liaison agency Flanders-Europe (vleva) kindly invite you to the conference 'APACHES- Develop building blocks for future territorial cooperation'. This event takes place on 19 March 2014 at the European Parliament in Brussels and is hosted by the Flemish MEP Mark Demesmaeker. ProgrammeDelegates will hear from experts and influential speakers on plans for future European policy instruments, and particularly, details of opportunities for financial support through European transnational cooperation programmes. The programme will include opportunities to meet with community champions who can attest to the real and lasting benefits of the important work, and entrepreneurs who can realise the new opportunities for sustainable growth achieved through cooperation. Participants will also learn about important outcomes already achieved through EU-level work to deliver smarter, more inclusive and more sustainable cities and regions, reflecting on how to build on what works well and some of the pitfalls to avoid.
