Forum Europe’s 5th Data Protection and Privacy conference will take place on the 9th December 2014 in Brussels. Gathering over 350 delegates annually, this event provides a key multi-stakeholder platform for debate on data protection and privacy in Europe.This year, following adoption by the European Parliament and a partial general approach agreed by the European Council, the conference will assess the progress of the proposed reforms, heading for the trilogue with the European Commission.Alongside this, the conference will address the future of privacy principles in the age of the internet of things and the data economy, as well as looking at frameworks for international interoperability and digital trade.
