Level 4 Award in HACCP Management for Food Manufacturing (HABC)

Level 4 Award in HACCP Management for Food Manufacturing focuses on the implementation of HACCP, leadership, verification and HACCP auditing.

This Level 4 HACCP qualification focuses on the implementation, leadership, verification, auditing and management issues of HACCP. The course will give you a greater understanding of HACCP-based food safety management and will enable you to manage HACCP in the work environment. If you have already achieved the Level 3 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing qualification and need to develop and improve your skills further, then this lively and interactive workshop-focused programme is ideal for you and your company. In order to gain the most from this course, and to have the best chance of exam success, it is essential to have either passed the Level 3 Award in HACCP for Food Manufacturing, a Level 4 Food Safety qualification or have an equivalent level of industry experience. It is also advised that learners have a minimum of Level 2 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent and an adequate standard of written and spoken English. The Highfield Awarding Body of Compliance (HABC) Level 4 Award in HACCP Management for Food Manufacturing has been accredited by the regulators of England and Wales (Ofqual and the Welsh Government) and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). It is approved by Improve, the Sector Skills Council for Food Manufacturing. You will be required to complete a pre-course assessment booklet which will be given out two weeks before the course starts. This must be completed prior to the course and brought with you, as we will refer to this on the morning of day one. This qualification is assessed by an examination with a total duration of 3 hours. Learners will achieve a Pass at 60% overall, a Merit at 70% and a Distinction at 80%.
