Climate-KIC, the Europe's largest public-private partnership focused on tackling climate change, presents its broader model of innovation through a new initiative; the Transitions Hub. The Transitions Hub will reach out to regions, authorities, communities and citizens to support them to meet the challenges posed by climate change. This event will provide a broad overview of transitions thinking and why it is important to sustainable energy policy within Europe. It will be delivered by experts from academia and experienced practitioners, drawing on case studies from leading city authorities. Finally, the event will outline some of initiatives, projects and opportunities available through the Transitions Hub in 2015.This event is part of the European Sustainable Energy Week.
