An event to highlight the challenges faced by scleroderma patients and the scleroderma community and discuss ways to improve patient care across Europe. FESCA and scleroderma specialists from across Europe will be discussing the barriers faced by diagnosed individuals and how European MEPs can support scleroderma patient’s to live full and rewarding lives. The topics to be discussed are the importance of early diagnosis in treating patients, how investment in research is vital to management of scleroderma and the vital need for equity of care.This is a cross-party, moral issue, focussing on equity of care for scleroderma patients across Europe. Scleroderma is a rare disease but this should not mean that access to quality care and treatment is limited. Through proper treatment and management individuals diagnosed can lead full and rewarding lives.
