Call for Papers EXTENDED - Progress in Biogas IV

International Conference

From March 8th to 11th 2017 will take place the fourth edition of the International Conference "Progress in Biogas - Biogas production from agricultural biomass and organic residues.“ This conference is THE platform to share your results, discuss about the development on the field of biogas, exchange opinions and get together with other people interested in biogas and renewable energies.

Topics of the conference will be:

  1. Low-tech biogas plants
  2. Biogas generation from biowaste and wastewater treatment plants
  3. Digestate application and management
  4. Process control, modeling of the biogas process
  5. Process inhibition (N-rich substrates)
  6. Innovative digestion technologies
  7. Pretreatment technologies
  8. Self-sufficiency and safety of energy supply
  9. Gas cleaning - gas processing
  10. Optimal integration of biogas in the energy system
  11. Practitioners forum

Take the opportunity to present your work at this international conference. Your summary must be in a form of an abstract. This must introduce your work and summarize your proposed presentation. Final deadline to submit it is the 31st of May 2016.

Abstracts should be submitted per e-mail to Jenny Aragundy-Kaiser. To submit your abstract you should use the form available at www.progress-in-biogas.com/papers. Please specify if you want to submit your abstract as a poster or an oral presentation. Also select the theme session in which it should be included (multiple-choice is allowed). 

If your abstract is accepted you will have to submit a full paper between six and eight A4 pages. Practitioners are welcome to present their work.

The accepted abstracts will have also the possibility to publish in the "Special Issue Anaerobic Digestion" from the scientific journal "Bioresource Technology"
