The Tourism Research Unit of the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) organizes its 12th Annual International Conference on Tourism, 30-31 May & 1-2 June 2016, Athens, Greece. The aim of the conference is to bring together academics and researchers from all areas of Tourism. Areas of interest include (but are not confined to):Tourism and Economic DevelopmentTourism GeographyNational and Regional Tourism PolicyEuropean Union's Tourism PolicyMega Events (Olympics Games) and TourismHotel Management and MarketingRestaurant Management and MarketingTourism EconomicsTourism MarketingTourism ManagementTourism (Travel) LawTravel Agents and Tour OperatorsSports TourismInternational Tourist Organizations (i.e. WTO, WTTC etc).Tourism Research and MethodologyTourism, Recreation and LeisureTourism EducationYou may participate as panel organizer, presenter of one paper, chair a session or observer.  Special arrangements will be made with a local hotel for a limited number of rooms at a special conference rate. In addition, a number of special events will be organized: A Greek night of entertainment with dinner, a special one-day cruise to selected Greek islands, an archaeological tour of Athens and a one-day visit to Delphi.
