Small island, big ambitions: What the Maltese Presidency is doing for education in Europe

What will Malta do for education in Europe during its very first EU Presidency? And how will it achieve its mission of "achieving a High Quality Education For All through Inclusion in Diversity"? Join us on 9 February to discover the answers.

HOW TO ENSURE INCLUSIVE EDUCATION?

How can we ensure that our education system provides equal opportunities for all children to thrive? The Maltese Presidency is determined to help solve this question. On 1 January 2017 the small island of Malta took on its very first presidency of the Council of the EU. During the first half of 2017, they will focus on:

  • Promoting inclusion in education
  • The further implementation of the New Skills Agenda for Europe (with a specific focus on the European Qualification Framework (EQF) and Europass)

You will discover all this and more at the event “Small island, big ambitions: What the Maltese Presidency is doing for education in Europe” on Thursday 9 February in the morning.
