Main theme: Increasing the efficiency of the sustainable seaweed value chain.

Seagriculture 2017 combines 6 plenary sessions with a mini tradeshow, poster presentations, networking lunches, and a gourmet seaweed-infused conference dinner. The plenary program will kick off with an overview of ongoing international seaweed (research) projects; the other 5 sessions will describe the seaweed value chain in reversed chronological order, starting with the end product.

The conference aims to balance academic speakers with corporate speakers, to take steps in developing the chain in an efficient and sustainable manner.
