It weighs 1% of glass, but it lets more light in. This is only one of the characteristics that make ETFE a ‘wonder’ material. However, its multiple benefits are still not very well known.
To counter this, we have designed a training lecture to give an introduction to textile-based architecture, and ETFE in particular, focusing on its qualities and its architectural ;It will also present the state-of-the-art uses of ETFE for multifunctional surfaces, including the integration of photovoltaics and façade lighting.
