The authorities have lots of data on schools. Some of the data are shared with schools. Teachers and schools increasingly solve problems in teams by generating and analysing their own data. This way they often find better solutions. During this workshop we investigate how teachers and schools generate the data they might use for their purposes and how they can use data to steer their policies, adjust their plans and make teaching practice benefit from it. Distributive leadership welcomes this way of tackling problems.

We want to learn how practitioner inquiry and data use works across the borders. We listen to a Flemish and an international expert on this subject matter, as well as to experienced pedagogical ; Finally, we give the floor to two schools - members of the network organization of Catholic Education Flanders – who actually deal with data generated by practitioner inquiry.
