14th Russian/CIS/Baltic/Japan Symposium on Ferroelectricity RCBJSF2018

RCBJSF2018

RCBJSF2018 will bring together international experts on synthesis, properties, modeling and new applications of relaxor materials. The focus of the Symposium is on the fundamental understanding of structure-property relationships and on new materials.

The Symposium will present invited and contributed talks and original poster reports and will provide ample time for scientific discussions.

Scope:

  • Theory;
  • Phase transitions and critical phenomenon;
  • Dielectric, piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties;
  • Crystal structure and atomic dynamics; X-ray and neutron scattering;
  • Raman, IR, sub-millimeter, THz, microwave spectroscopy;
  • Growth of crystals;
  • Domains and boundaries; surfaces and interfaces;
  • Ferroelectric polymers, liquid crystals, composites;
  • Multiferroics;
  • Probing the nanoscale ferroelectric behavior and size effects;
