Beyond the upcoming EU regulation on water reuse

What else is needed to bridge the gap between policy, perception, and practice?

The upcoming EU regulation on minimum requirements for water reuse ensures that, in the future, agricultural irrigation will be monitored in a harmonised manner. This will mitigate hygiene and health concerns, as well as those regarding open markets across national borders.

Will the new EU regulation be enough to build necessary trust and confidence amongst producers and consumers?

This EU Green Week partner event, organised by the INCOVER project, will explore suitable ways and means to bridge the gap between policy, perception, and practice to make water reuse in agriculture more widely accepted in the EU.

Join us on 21 May 2019 from 10:00-13:00 at ICLEI Europe's Brussels office.
