Workshop on Sustainable Chemicals

The political and regulatory choices that will be made based on this new European Chemicals Strategy for Sustainability (CSS) will hugely impact the chemical industry within the EU and beyond in an unprecedented manner.

In a joint workshop, Weber Shandwick Brussels and EPPA will present the main challenges, risks, chances, and opportunities the CSS strategy poses for your business by addressing the following questions: What are the ideas behind CSS? How does CSS impact your business? What does CSS mean for the global competitiveness of your corporation? What is the impact on non-EU corporations? How do you prepare for CSS and use it as a proactive branding tool?

To address these and other strategic questions in a tailor-made workshop, EPPA is bringing its deeply rooted specialist knowledge on chemicals policy in the EU and combining it with the force of Weber Shandwick’s global branding, communication and public affairs expertise and capabilities.

The workshop will provide a broad overview of what is at stake and what it means for your business. It will help you develop a foresight approach to proactively turn CSS into an opportunity rather than a threat. Join us on for an online workshop with high-level speakers such as:

  • Oliver DREWES, Senior Executive Director, Public Affairs at Weber Shandwick;

  • Metka CAVKA LUCIANI, Account Director, Sustainability at Weber Shandwick;

  • Meglena MIHOVA, Managing Partner at EPPA;

  • Julius WALLER, Chairman at EPPA
