AGE is pleased to hold its 2023 Annual Conference with the participation of the Swedish Minister for Older People, Ms. Anna Tenje and the Vice-President for Democracy and Demography, Ms. Dubravka Šuica to discuss one of the priorities of the Swedish Presidency: how to enable sustainable and quality working lives for all?
AGE has been advocating over the last two decades for age equality, including in employment with the creation of age-friendly labour market and working conditions. In continuation of this advocacy, the Annual Conference will address the multiple challenges of combating ageism in employment and promoting independent ageing where the skills, experience and aspirations of older workers are recognised and valued. The Annual Conference will also be the opportunity for AGE current and potential partners, allies and friends to discuss the first results of the AGE Barometer, to be published in autumn 2023.
