The Faculty of Organisation Studies in Novo mesto, Slovenia (FOS) was established in 2008 as an independent faculty under Slovenian law. To date, it has accredited study degree programmes at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels in Quality Management. A total of about 200 students are enrolled annually. In addition to the accredited study programmes, the Faculty also pays attention to its business processes, which are monitored by the standards ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. The Office of the Slovenian Information Commissioner has also rewarded the Faculty's efforts in relation to ISO 27001. FOS continuously improves the requirements of the EFQM Model of Excellence to exceed student expectations. FOS is aware of its mission in education and knowledge transfer, where quality is the strong foundation for excellence in all areas. To fulfil this mission and contribute to a knowledge-based society, FOS has integrated the principles of the contemporary paradigms of quality and excellence into daily work. Active integration into the European Research Area and the European Higher Education Area is one of the main development priorities of FOS.

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE) was founded in 1919 as a unit of the Technical Faculty of the University of ;The main mission of the Faculty is the education of electrical engineering experts and research work, which are closely intertwined. The field of electrical engineering has come a long way from being simply the science of electrical current and voltage. Today, alongside electronics and power engineering, the Faculty is also active in the fields of telecommunications and automation. International School for Social and Business Studies (ISSBS) is a dynamic private higher education institution, located in Celje, Slovenia, and founded in 2006, with approximately 500 students. ISSBS is specialized in the field of business and social studies at bachelor's, master's and PhD levels. One of the strategic directions of ISSBS is also to embed social responsibility in the delivery of study programmes. Besides, among the ISSBS’s prominent features are its high-quality academics and long-standing international vocation in study and research. The ISSBS’ internationalisation effort has consolidated and initiated new relations with other faculties and research centres abroad. This direction has encouraged professors and students to be more and more involved in European and international exchange programmes. Internationalization is not implemented only by the mobility programmes such as Erasmus+, and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs, but also by the implementation of international summer schools, involvement of foreign experts and visiting professors in the delivery of the programmes, LLL events, promotional programmes of Slovenian research, as well as involvement in delivery and coordination of many international R&D and LLL projects. Also, ISSBS is a member of many international and regional organisations such as EAIE, UNAI, Danube Excellence Consortium, Regional Chamber of Commerce. ISSBS cooperates with more than 30 European universities. ISSBS also implements national R&D projects which are in most cases financed by Slovenian Research Agency (SRA), as well as other projects financed by the European funds, Slovenian Ministries or municipalities, etc.. ISSBS has been successfully involved in many international projects such as  7th Framework Programme, the EACEA Tempus IV, EACEA Lifelong Learning Programme (EQF, Jean Monnet, Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus KA3), etc. ISSBS has been awarded the international HR Excellence in Research recognition. It became one of the national contacts pointed Euraxess as well. Institution annually organises the international scientific conference MakeLearn & TIIM with approximately 300 participants from over 40 countries, research seminars, and student research conferences, etc.

Association for rural development LAZ has been active since 2004 and is involved mainly in activities to improve rural life and actively involve and connect rural population of all age groups through varied activities and projects thus promoting active citizenship. Association goal is to improve through rural development the quality of social and economical aspects of life of the habitants of the Jablaniška valley area. Activities of the LAZ NGO are very diverse from development of touristic programs, youth education programs, promotion of the cultural heritage and organization of workshops for rural population in order to raise awareness on different topics ( water resource management, ecology, agriculture, handcrafts). The activities are also aimed at different age groups and we are especially encouraging intergenerational transfer of knowledge and cooperation between the seniors and youngsters through different projects. The membership in organization is increasing and thus the volunteer input of the local population. The organization is trying to address different needs of local people therefore the range of the activities is growing form year to year.

Temeljno poslanstvo Biotehniške fakultete je univerzitetno, visokošolsko strokovno in podiplomsko izobraževanje, znanstvenoraziskovalno, strokovno in svetovalno delo na področju ved o živi naravi (biologija, mikrobiologija) ter kmetijstva, gozdarstva in ribištva ( gozdarstvo, zootehnika, agronomija) in z njimi povezanih proizvodnih tehnologij ( lesarstvo, živilstvo, biotehnologija).Skupna podlaga vseh študijskih in znanstvenih disciplin na Biotehniški fakulteti so naravni viri (zemlja, prostor, rastlinstvo, živalstvo, voda). Usmeritev fakultete v proučevanje naravnih virov in v trajnostno gospodarjenje z njimi postavlja fakulteto med tiste družbene institucije, ki jih mora imeti vsak narod, ki želi oblikovati in ohraniti svojo identiteto. Raziskovanje in izobraževanje na področju ved o življenju in naravi nalaga Biotehniški fakulteti tudi veliko odgovornost, da ustvarja strokovne in znanstvene podlage in krepi družbeno klimo za trajno harmonično sožitje med človekom in naravo.

The basic goals of the Institute are to provide expert scientific and applied output in the form of processes, products and consultancy, and to produce well-trained young scientists. The Institute is closely connected with the Slovenian universities. With the modern equipment and expertise, the laboratories at the Institute are well able to tackle demanding projects. They are open to university research groups and other users. The Institute co-operates with more than 100 leading scientific research institutions world-wide. A number of projects of a multi-disciplinary nature are focused on meeting the requirements of the general national interest. The development of new technologies and products is grounded in basic research.
