Agency for Energy Efficiency and Environmental Protection (EMEA) Is an independent legal entity, founded in 2007, , co-financed by the European Commission through the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme, organized as NGOs.
The agency is an NGO serving the local communities.
It is a management agency for local, regional and national sustainable development, sustainable energy and environmental protection.
Members of the organization are groups of consumers, manufacturers and distributors of energy, social organizations and business and public authorities interested in implementing measures and action plans for the rational use of energy and development of renewable energy projects to ensure sustainable development of communities they live and operate.
The agency is founded with the goal of becoming a legal entity respected in the local community, able to capitalize on local expertise and to influence policies, regional and national that the production and use of energy and developing renewable energy sources.
The purpose of the Agency is to raise consumption habits, stimulating the development of new renewable energy sources, disseminating information on good practices in the field, publishing newsletters to help educate all stakeholders in the field, to promote increased energy efficiency and renewable energy and share the experience with European players with experience and successful projects.
