It demonstrates their potential to create innovative solutions with Internet and Mobile technology addressing the goals defined by the Council of Europe and Europe 2020 as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The annual winners event (EYA Festival) is s a unique event combining knowledge – innovation – networking – inspiration – motivation taking place in Graz at the end of November. EYA is organized by the International Center for New Media, a Non-Profit Organization based in Salzburg, Austria.

Civil society participation and consultation should be mainstreamed throughout the EU Strategy for Danube Region and its implementation, steering and revision processes. The EUSDR action plan set high standards in demanding participation of civil society on all levels of the Danube Strategy. The DCSF calls on all stakeholders in the EUSDR, especially those responsible for the implementation of the EUSDR to keep up with the high standards of the action plan demanding participation of civil society.

The Austrian Centre for Digital Humanities (ACDH) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences is a research institute which was set up with the declared intention of fostering the humanities by applying digital methods and tools in a wide range of academic fields. It offers a growing portfolio of services running a repository for digital language resources, hosting and publishing data, developing software and working on establishing a tightly knit network of specialised knowledge centres by offering advice and guidance to the research community.In their research, the ACDH team is mainly concerned with text- and language-related questions focusing on non-standard and historical linguistic varieties and eLexicography. Current projects investigate technical standards, infrastructure components, semantic technologies and text technological methods. All of these activities are embedded within the European infrastructure consortia: CLARIN-ERIC and DARIAH-EU.
