The principal aim of CZELO is to support the successful integration of the Czech research community into the European research cooperation, particularly through the EU Framework Programmes for Research, Development and Innovation (Horizon 2020). Our activities related to presentation and promotion of Czech research abroad are following:  provide targeted and up-to-date information on European research via CZELO website, individual consultations, Newsletter (in Czech), CZELO Bulletin (in English) and Twitter @TC_CAS; promote Czech science, research and innovation to Brussels based partners and representatives to the EU institutions; prepare and facilitate meetings of Czech researchers with relevant officers of the European Commission and possible project partners for the presentation of research topics and negotiation of project proposals (CZELO Workshops); organize events (conferences, seminars, consortium building workshops) about Czech RDI for the EU institution, organizations based in Brussels and other partner institutions; logistic support/assistance for Czech researchers in preparing meetings with potential project partners in Brussels; provide short-/long-term internships in CZELO office; project partner search support. In addition to the aforementioned activities, CZELO also provides actual information (both formal and informal) about the European research and opportunities in joining the international research cooperation.

The University of Coimbra, the oldest institution of higher education in Portugal and one of the oldest in the world. The Faculty offers, as 1st cycle, an undergraduate course in Sport Science.
