The Institute for European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP) is a non-for-profit, independent research institute working, since 2015, on science-based climate change mitigation, energy efficiency and renewable energy policy, with an international interdisciplinary team of experts generating and disseminating scientific knowledge. We act as a knowledge-hub sharing pragmatic results as well as innovative ideas providing policymakers, and all private and public decision-makers, independent expertise and science-based research to support their work towards the energy transition and a sustainable future. IEECP has a rich experience in managing EU, climate action and energy transition projects – predominantly Horizon 2020-funded-, as coordinator or partner, engaging stakeholders, drafting policy syntheses and recommendations, evaluating policies, analysing data and statistics as well as developing tools, libraries, capacity building and learning programmes. We work closely with EU institutions, international organisations, national, regional and local governments, think-tanks, NGOs, academics and the business world to lead the transition to climate neutrality and to a sustainable energy future for various sectors. We build valued partnerships with renowned organisations from across Europe as we believe collaboration and creating a community helps carrying our ideas and results further, to shape, together, a low-emissions, resilient future.

The Dutch Association of Environmental Professionals (Vereniging van Milieuprofessionals, VVM) is the network for environmental professionals in the Netherlands. The VVM supports all environmental professionals, both experienced and young talented. Criterion for becoming a member is the field of activity, not the education received. Because of this diversity in backgrounds, employers and expertise, the VVM is an attractive and inspiring platform for its members. The open culture promotes contacts among colleagues, and discussions and opinions about every possible environmental subject.The VVM is engaged to professionalize her members through its environmental magazine (Tijdschrift Milieu), meetings on various themes, congresses and courses. An independent and professional attitude is pivotal to all VVM activities. The VVM applies a code of conduct for environmental professionals.

The European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) is a non-profit association, with 130 societies, institutes and universities in most European countries affiliated to it. EFFoST has become a focus for European cooperation among food scientist, engineers, technologists and business in food and food-related areas. EFFoST, based in the Netherlands, is the European group of the International Union of Food Science & Technology (IUFoST), which in turn is a full member of the International Council for Science (ICSU).

Our mission EIPA was created in 1981 on the occasion of the first European Council held in Maastricht, and is supported by the EU Member States and the European Commission. Our core mission is to provide high quality training courses to develop the capacities of professionals, national and regional public administrations dealing with EU affairs, as well as the European Institutions.
