Mrs Emma Mcclarkin

Member of the European Parliament

Emma is the youngest Member of the European Parliament representing the UK. Having been an activist for the Party from a young age, Emma has always been passionate about politics. After working in Law, Emma decided to become more involved in Politics, and has been working for the Conservative Party in the East Midlands Region for in various roles for about 10 years. Directly before being elected in 2009, Emma worked for the Rugby Football Union as their Government Relations Executive.Emma is the Conservative spokesperson for Culture, Education, Media and Sport. She works on the Culture and Education Committee, the Internal Market Committee, the International Trade Committee and the newly formed Special Committee on Organised Crime. In addition, Emma is a member of the EU delegation to Canada and the EU delegation to India.
