Dr Zsuzsa R. Huszar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance at National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School. She is also an affiliated researcher at the Institute of Real Estate Studies (IRES) and at the Risk Management Institute (RMI) at NUS. Prior to joining NUS, Dr Huszar was an Assistant Professor at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona and Instructor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Kentucky.Dr Huszar`s research interests include short selling and pricing efficiency, financial liquidity risk, regulatory implications in the external capital market, and regulatory implications in the residential mortgage market. In her current research, she focuses on pricing implications of the equity lending market internationally, thereby contributing to the global regulatory debate on short selling. Her research work has been published in top finance and real estate journals, including the Journal of Financial Economics, Real Estate Economics and The Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics.Dr Huszar has received number of awards for her studies and research. She was awarded the best paper (2010) by Fama-DFA, an annual prize given to authors with best capital markets and asset pricing research papers published in the Journal of Financial Economics.
