Olivier Herlin studied Hospitality Management at the Glion Institute for Higher Education in Switzerland. He started his career in 1989 working at the prestigious Hotel New Otani in Tokyo for 2 years where he could experience first hand protocol at the service of head of states and VIP guests. In 1991 he returned to Brussels to pursue his career in hospitality operations. Passionate about education and training, he now teaches International Hospitality Leadership and Management in universities and business schools in Belgium and Finland. He co-founded Beamable.org, a non profit organisation which aims to democratise Leadership development and Mind Mapping. Fluent in Japanese, he is also an expert in Japanese culture.
