Dr Sebastian Baum

Lecturer and researcher in renewable energies

After graduating in Forest Sciences, Sebastian Baum obtained his doctorate in micro biology (wood decaying fungi) in 2001 at the University of Freiburg (Germany). He worked at Swiss universities for the following ten years (ETH Zurich and Zurich University of Applied Sciences) as a lecturer and as a researcher for renewable energies (wood energy, biogas) in application-oriented projects with industry participation. Since his return to Germany in 2011 he is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Applied Sciences Weihenstephan-Triesdorf in Freising.
