A milestone on the way to Post-Kyoto Protocol talks in Copenhagen. Supported by an EU-funded project. Some highlights: * A Policy Vision: Policy makers from different countries and non-governmental organisations will present their view on how to overcome barriers to natural refrigerants at the national and international level. * A Workshop for each Refrigerant: For each of the three refrigerants CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbons, dedicated workshop sessions will present case studies of real-life experience with heating and cooling applications, as well as market trends. * A Word from Investors: Atmosphere 2009 will invite key players from the investment community to outline financial opportunities for a wider use of natural refrigerants. * A Call for Action: Before the official start of Atmosphere 2009, "Recommendations for Copenhagen" to consider natural refrigerants on global environmental policy agendas will be presented during a Sunday reception. The document will speak with one voice on behalf of all proponents of CO2, ammonia and hydrocarbons.
