Symposium Vibrations In Physical Systems 2010

Every two years some leading specialists in the field of investigation come to present the papers and discuss some important issues in such broad context of dynamics. This is possible in the frame of the "Vibrations in Physical Systems" Symposium, which has been organized since 1960 by the Poznan branch of the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics and the Institute of Applied Mechanicsa of Poznan University of Technology. The scope of these Symposia are not only dynamical problems of the pure mechanical systems, that means wave propagation, vibrations etc., in solids, fluids and mechanical constructions but also dynamical problems of heat conduction, electromagnetic waves and its influence on mechanical behavior of the medium. There are also some new and important areas of dynamical investigation like bio-systems including human under motion and/or vibrations. (source: www.vibsys.put.poznan.pl)
