The 5th Military Performance Based Logistics

Successful Integration of PBL Initiatives into Defence Lifecycle Systems Management to Reduce Costs, Increase Effiiciency and Operational Excellence

Militaries have been pushing for PBL enrollment into supply chain management. The evidence that PBL is beneficial is clear - militaries vendors are delivering improved performance at lower costs. However, the barriers to successful PBL and the strict policies of "expected to do" or "must do" can be a deterrent factor to project managers in adopting PBL as part of their responsibilities. The 5th Military Performance Based Logistics course aims to give military personnel or project managers some insights in making PBL works. The training course will discuss extensively on how to successfully integrate PBL practices across TOTAL SYSTEM LIFECYLE. Discussion also include feasibility of PBL in a project, proven PBL costing models, pitfalls of PBL, effective BCA, limitations and constraints
