The European Academy of Bolzano-Bozen and the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt are organising for the fourth time a Scientific Track within the framework of the conference Culture meets Economy, that will take place on June, 29th until June, 30th 2010 with two events: The Scientific Track on June 2010 29th and the Symposium on June 30th 2010.The first edition of the international Culture meets Economy Conference in 2007 addressed the potential of cultural events for tourism; the second one in 2008 looked on culture and creativity as location factors for non-metropolitan areas while the 2009 conference focused on different dimensions as the crisis of culture, the culture of facing crises or the change of culture through crises. The upcoming conference will focus on cultural entrepreneurship and the intersections between entrepreneurs which promote cultural events and artists, curators, sponsors, consumers and other stakeholders in the field of art and culture.The Scientific Track offers a platform for academics and researchers to present and debate state-of-the-art research in the field of culture and entrepreneurship and intends to address a wide variety of aspects. The Scientific Track is open to researchers from different disciplines, giving the opportunity to create interdisciplinary networks and co-operations.
