After more than a decade of Civil Peace Service (CPS) it is imperative to evaluate and assess the actions and programmes that CPS has generated so far. A critical assessment and evaluation are prerequisite for sustainability and linkages to development and peace policies in general.The conference will connect academic research on causes of conflict with insights from practical experience in civil conflict transformation. Basic assumptions and paradigms of civil conflict transformation will be reflected upon.
