No Second Night Out

Sharing effective real-life solutions to end rough sleeping.

In 21st century Britain no-one should be destitute on our streets. This belief is shared by the Government, who outlined their plans in Vision to end rough sleeping: No Second Night Out nationwide. This strategy builds on the progress made over the last two decades by local councils and homelessness charities. We want to build on this even further, to ensure that there is a quick and effective response from services in any area to help an individual off of the streets, should someone find themselves sleeping rough. This event will share expertise in what approaches have worked so far and will explore the role that each Local Authority and each homelessness charity can play in ending rough sleeping locally. There will be two equal strands to the day, running through the programme:•    the measures that can be put in place to prevent rough sleeping•    the work that can be done to support those who are sleeping rough away from the streets, stopping it becoming their home.To book your place please either call 020 7840 4461 or book online at the web address given.
