Seamless Personalised services

The European Commission is pleased to announce the organisation of a two day event session on 24-25 November 2011 focusing on Seamless Personalised services & User-Centric Personalised services.

Seamless eGovernment services support the vision of a unified Single European Market by contributing at different levels to the benefit of both citizens and businesses: from setting up and running businesses, to a variety of real life cases such as studying, working, residing and retiring anywhere in the European Union. In order for businesses to be able to trade their products and provide services across the EU to other public bodies uninhibited, easy electronic public procurement and effective implementation are essential.Large scale pilots have been already set up to help remove administrative barriers (in the domain of eProcurement) that European businesses face when wanting to offer their services abroad, by supporting the implementation of points of single contact for all the related procedures. This event will aim to discuss seamless eGovernment services that have the characteristic of being open, flexible and collaborative at local, regional, national and European levels therefore empowering citizens and businesses.
