This Summer School aims at the state-of-the-art training in the form of lectures and consulting sessions designed for Ph.D. students and young researchers seeking to reinforce their knowledge and skills in the field of organic materials for electronics - science and technology. Top experts in this area will deliver lectures and consulting sessions. The school is intended both for people already active in this R&D field, as well as for those new to the field. A number of social events will be also proposed to relax after the heavily-scheduled programme, including: bonfire, boats on Krutynia River, guided or individual out-door activities (kayaking, trekking, horse-riding, bike, etc.).SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMMETheoretical background1. basics for organic materials for dye-sensitised, bulk heterojunction, and hybrid photovoltaics2. basics for organic materials for OLED and OLET/OFET technologies3. advanced quantum calculationsAcademic research1. design and synthesis of materials for HOPV2. design and synthesis of materials for OLED3. design and synthesis of materials for OLET and OFETTechnological aspects1. laboratory testing of microdevices2. fast, robotic testing of OLED, OFET, and OPV devices3. industrial maturity of organic electronics4. industrial and business perspectivesINVITED LECTURERS (list not completed)• Filippo De Angelis, Ferrara, Italy• Neil Robertson, Edinburgh, UK• Emilio Palomares, ICIQ Catalonia, Spain• Gianluca Farinola, Bari, Italy• Philippe Gerbier, Montpellier, France• Edwin Constable, Basel, Switzerland• Michele Maggini, Padova, Italy• Muriel Hissler, Rennes, France• Ifor D.
